Lucky 13 Patch

The Lucky 13 shirt pays tribute to Marine Bombing Squadron Four-Thirteen, commissioned on March 1, 1943, at Cherry Point, North Carolina, as the first Marine medium-bomber squadron flying B-25/PBJs. They deployed to the South Pacific, conducting heckling, bombing and strafing missions against Japanese targets. Decommissioned on November 30, 1945, after Japan's surrender, they were known as the "Flying Nightmares," "Night Hecklers," and most notably "The Shamrocks," featuring this distinctive four-leaf clover emblazoned with the number 13 as their insignia.
